The Ukrainian Association of South Africa (UAZA), in partnership with the Institute for Security Studies, Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR), Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation and the Democratic Initiatives Foundation (DIF), are pleased to conduct the seminar “The Ukraine Peace Formula: Regional Security, Nuclear Safety, and Human Rights Perspectives”.

This event aims to bring together African and Ukrainian experts to discuss the implications of the war against Ukraine for the regional security architecture, just peace, Nuclear Safety and Energy Governance, and Human rights, as well as the Protection of Children. The seminar will provide policy-relevant insights, foster academic and diplomatic exchange, and explore opportunities for collaboration between Ukraine and African partners.
