11 March – «First Ukrainian Festival» that took place in Cape Town. During the Festival over 1000 South Africans learned more about history of Ukraine, opportunities for economic cooperation, learned more about Ukrainian culture, learned to dance hopak, enjoyed Ukrainian music and poetry, learned to make Pysanka’s, dolls, write Ukrainian letters and many more. During the Festival performed representatives of the band of internally displaced people from Donetsk “Dyvyna”
